Into the Wild - Nelle terre selvagge è un film del 2007, diretto da Sean Penn, tratto da una storia vera e basato sul romanzo di Jon Krakauer Nelle terre estreme.

Trama

Il film racconta la storia vera di Christopher McCandless che subito dopo la laurea, nel 1990, abbandona amici e famiglia per sfuggire ad una società in cui non riesce più a vivere. La sua inquietudine, in parte dovuta al pessimo rapporto con la famiglia, lo porta a viaggiare per due anni negli Stati Uniti e nel Messico del nord, fino al viaggio finale, in Alaska. Qui trova la natura selvaggia ed incontaminata che gli fa comprendere che la felicità non è nelle cose che lo circondano, ma in se stessi. Morirà qui nel 1992 di inedia, capendo finalmente che la felicità è si, dentro di sé, ma per essere vera deve essere condivisa con qualcuno. Nel suo cuore, prima di morire, riuscirà a perdonare i suoi genitori.

Storyline

The film tells the true story of Christopher McCandless who immediately after graduation in 1990, leaving friends and family to escape to a society in which fails to live longer. His concern, in part due to very bad relationship with his family, led him to travel for two years in the United States and in northern Mexico, until final trip, in Alaska. Here lies the wild and unspoiled nature that makes us understand that happiness is not in the things around him, but in themselves. She Will Die here in 1992 of starvation, finally understanding that happiness is yes, within himself, but to be true should be shared with someone. In his heart, before he died, will be able to forgive his parents.
